"I have been instructed by our committee to write a letter regarding the trading hours proposed for Easter Thursday. The 5.30 pm closing time is too early to allow our customers to buy their Easter requirements .
This day is the single busiest day of the year.This would severely impact on our sales and credibility with the public; it would make us the only food retail precinct not to be available for our customers on that evening."
